An AMB White Label or Private Label Warranty Program provides the Coil Producer with an immediate competitive advantage. Not only does AMB Warranty offer our Coil Producer Partners competitive pricing, but we also virtually eliminate any future legal liability.

3 Top Reasons Coil Producers should have a WTW Provider

  1. Loss of Business – Coil Producers that DO NOT offer a WTW lose up to 40% of their business to Coil Producers that DO offer a WTW. This happens because most architectural specs require a WTW. Coil Producers’ contractors simply take the architectural spec business to Coil Producer Companies that offer WTWs. Architects, as with most professionals, are extremely protective of their reputations, and the WTW helps mitigate their future risk.
  2. Cost – Creating a quality WTW Program is expensive. First are the upfront costs. A consultant will need to be hired to create agreements and forms as well as to develop a workable program. Lawyers will need to review documents and to ensure that appropriate language is used for liability protection. Secondly, a marketing team needs to be hired to brand and advertise to your contractors and to find other potential contractors to whom you will be offering the WTW Program. Thirdly, an internal warranty department will need to be hired and added to the current office to properly service the ongoing needs of the program. Finally, inspectors will need to be found and hired for the purposes of consulting and inspecting. They must be willing to travel long distances and potentially work on weekends. Recently, obtaining reputable and knowledgeable inspectors, with experience, who are willing to travel out of state at a reasonable cost has become increasingly difficult. As well, it is of the utmost importance that inspectors have a good “bed-side manner” and be reasonable when working with the contractor. While the way the contractor has installed the roof may not completely conform with the inspector’s methods, the essential question is whether the roof will remain watertight.  The reality is that there are always multiple methods to complete the job, and the inspector’s knowledge and experience will allow for the difference in methods, while maintaining the roof’s integrity.
  3. Liability – The fact is, we live in a very litigious time. A White Label WTW Agreement will mitigate or even eliminate most potential liability. The WTW Provider assumes responsibility for ensuring best practices for installation by the roofing contractor. Virtually all problems or issues regarding roof leaks arises from improper roof installation. Our inspection process minimizes the chance for future roof leaks.
